学会では、基調講演（Keynote Speaker）がありますが、今回は、日本から、日建設計の山梨知彦氏も基調講演されます。何かと話題の、Gardens by the Bayの設計者の講演＆ツアーも見ものです。他にも、日本からいくつかの話題提供を考えています。是非、シンガポールでお会いしましょう！
研究論文は、259のabstract提出があり、2段階の審査を経て、最終的に112のfull paperが採用されました。研究室関連では博士後期課程の孫さんが2編の論文発表を行います。

CAADRIA2013 in Singapore
Theme: OPEN SYSTEMS
The registration for CAADRIA2013 conference to be held in Singapore will close on 30 April 5pm (Singapore time). You may register for the conference at http://www.caadria2013.org/register.html
The Department of Architecture, School of Design and Environment, National University of Singapore will be hosting the 18th International CAADRIA (Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia) conference from 14 to 17 May 2013, to be held at the National University of Singapore. It will be attended by international academics, researchers, students and practitioners. The theme is Open Systems and our keynote speakers include Professor Charles Eastman, renowned researcher and BIM pioneer, Mr. Tomohiko Yamanashi, eminent Japanese architect; Adrian Lai (Wilkinson Eyre architects) & Yacine Bouzida (Atelier One), designers of the Glass Conservatories at Gardens by the Bay. By focusing on the theme of Open Systems, CAADRIA 2013 aims to explore and raise awareness to the need of overstepping disciplinary boundaries and reaching creative communities at all levels of expertise, by pooling resources, knowledge and practices, and integrating them through the adoption of open systems.
The conference programme will start on 14 May with five parallel hands-on workshops on cutting edge technology and innovation followed by paper presentations and presentations of practice work from 15 to 17 May. 259 abstracts were received from all over the world and 112 papers and presentations were selected.

About CAADRIA
The Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia (CAADRIA) promotes teaching and research in CAAD in Asia, and has members on six continents. It organizes an annual conference, the first of which was held in 1996 in Hong Kong. Since then conferences have been held in Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand and India. The conferences provide an opportunity for teachers, students, researchers, and practitioners to meet each other and learn about the latest research and practices in the field. The proceedings of the conferences are available both on line and in research libraries around the world.
